At bouldering camp, young people are free to challenge themselves, take risks, build lasting friendships, and reap the benefits of increased self-confidence. At the end of the week, climbers who are ready for additional challenges may progress to Elevation Bouldering Camp.

Elevation Bouldering Camp

Elevation Bouldering Camp is a 5 day deep-dive that will help kids unlock the best that bouldering has to offer. For four hours each day, we’ll immerse ourselves in movement, mental puzzles, physical challenges, and friendship. Participants can also expect a sneak-peek into the world of setting – and the opportunity to try their hand at creating problems for others!

Requirements: This camp is targeted at kids who already have some climbing experience and are excited to take a big leap in understanding and ability. Participants should be comfortable falling, downclimbing and navigating the gym responsibly, as well as able to climb in the adult area (beyond the topout boulder). We recommend that participants be able to project at a pink level and above.

Camps FAQ
How do I register?

You can register online by selecting your desired week on the calendar below. You are also welcome to call or come to the gym if you’d like a staff member to take care of registration for you.

My child has never climbed before – is that ok?

Yes! All ability levels are welcome in our Intro to Bouldering Camp. Experienced climbers should register for Elevation Bouldering Camp.

Will masks be required during camps?

Masks are optional for all participants.

Should I bring food and drink?

Yes, all campers should bring a water bottle and a substantial snack. Campers will be encouraged to take regular water and snack breaks.

Can I sign my child up for multiple camps?

Yes! A single camp is five days (Monday-Friday), but you are welcome to sign up for as many camps as you’d like. No two camps will be exactly alike.

How does drop-off/pick-up work?

Campers may be dropped off no more than 15 minutes early, and picked up no more than 15 minutes late.

Staff will not be available to supervise campers outside of the allotted time windows, and children under the age of 13 must be supervised in the gym at all times. If you are unable to drop your child off/pick your child up within the time window, please arrange to have someone else transport them.

Campers will be signed in and out of camp each day. If someone other than a parent will be picking up the child, the gym must be notified in advance. Make sure the person picking up your child is prepared to show ID.

What is your cancellation policy?

Camp payments are non-refundable. In the event of illness or emergency, you may transfer your reservation to an alternate camp week; if no suitable alternative can be found, we will issue you a credit for the amount of your camp tuition.

I have a financial need, or another special request— can you accommodate me?

All special requests should be sent to youth@elevationgym.com.
